History
For nearly 100 years, the name Lowman has been synonymous with providing quality care and services to older adults as a non profit ministry of the Lutheran Church. It all began in 1911 when Melissa Rauch Lowman, after the sudden death of her husband, gave her 950+ acre farm and other property to the Lutheran Church with the stipulation that a home be established to provide for her and her three dependent adult children. Since that time, the Lowman's ministry has grown and continued to provide a continuum of residential and healthcare services to meet the changing needs of thousands of older adults. Location Located in White Rock, S.C. on highway 76 in the heart of Lake Murray country, the Heritage at Lowman is still just minutes from Columbia with convenient access to I-26.
